Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has ended his marriage with Cristina Serra after 30 years, reports El Periodico via goal.com.
The couple has informed their inner circle about the decision but has not made an official announcement.
Guardiola and Serra met in 1994 when he was 20, and she was 17. They married in 2014 and share three children: Maria (24), Marius (22), and Valentina (17).
In 2019, Serra reportedly left Manchester with one of their children to focus on her fashion business. This raised speculation about their relationship. She later divided her time between Spain and London while staying in contact with Guardiola in Manchester.
The reason for their separation remains undisclosed. Guardiola is now expected to focus on reviving Manchester City after a tough start to the 2024/2025 season.
