One American based Ghanaian woman has openly lashed out heavily on gospel Singer Lady Prempeh for what she calls indecent and ungodly way of dressing and appearance as seen in the songstress promotional video to her yet to be released ‘Enka Ho Da’ single.
The audio which was leaked from the award winning gospel singer’s personal WhatsApp fan group, has the said woman questioning Lady Prempeh’s new look, especially her head gear which the woman claims it’s the same to what late dancehall diva Ebony Reigns had for her hit single ‘Maame Hwe’ video, of which was widely patronized after her untimely demise last year.
The lady who made the audio was addressing Lady Prempeh directly, after seeing the promo for her upcoming music video. It seemed for her, gospel and Christian musician should avoid dressing like circular artist, compering Lady Prempeh’s look in the video to the late Ebony. She raised an important issue which many in the music industry have been whispering about for some time, that, gospel/Christian music should be portrayed by Ghanaian gospel artist with their songs, dress, appearance and not jump the wall to become fashionistas or perceived to be runway models, instead of preaching the gospel.
